Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

NexLove.org aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. We treat accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a one-time checklist — as new tools are added and existing ones are audited, we prioritize fixing genuine barriers over cosmetic compliance.

What's currently in place

• Keyboard-operable file upload. Every drag-and-drop upload area on the site can be reached with Tab and activated with Enter or Space, not just a mouse click.
• Labeled form fields. Every input across our 280+ tools is programmatically associated with a visible label, so screen readers announce what each field is for.
• Accessible FAQ accordions. FAQ sections use real button elements with proper expanded/collapsed state, operable by keyboard.
• No icon-only buttons without a name. Every icon-only control carries an accessible label, so its purpose isn't lost on assistive technology.
• Respect for reduced-motion preferences. Page transition animations are skipped entirely for visitors with prefers-reduced-motion set.
• Verified status-message contrast. Success, error, warning, and info message text meets 4.5:1 contrast against its background in both light and dark themes — checked with real WCAG contrast math, not eyeballed.
• Keyboard-operable canvas tools. Our color picker and background remover — which involve clicking a specific point on an image — can also be operated with numeric coordinate fields and arrow-key navigation, with results announced live for screen readers.

Known limitations

We aren't claiming full, exhaustive WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across every one of 280+ tools — a site this size has genuine gaps we haven't finished auditing. We ran a real contrast check (not a visual guess) across the core text, background, and status-message colors used sitewide in both themes, and fixed one genuine failure it found: status message text (the colored text in success/error/warning/info boxes) didn't reach 4.5:1 against its background in light mode. We haven't yet extended that same check to every custom UI element across all 280+ individual tool interfaces, so isolated gaps may still exist in specific tools we haven't reached.

These are being worked through, not ignored — if a specific limitation is blocking you from using a tool you need, tell us and we'll prioritize it.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you encounter a barrier using NexLove.org with a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or any other assistive technology, please let us know. Include the specific tool or page, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead — the more specific the report, the faster we can fix it.
