Why enter my domain?

Does it count links like mailto: or tel:?

No — mailto:, tel:, javascript:, and anchor-only (#) links are excluded from both the internal and external counts, since they aren't page-to-page navigation links.

What does an empty anchor link mean?

Do I need to paste the whole page's HTML?
