Frequently Asked Questions

10% is a common default for straight-lay patterns. Diagonal layouts, herringbone patterns, or rooms with lots of corners and cutouts often need 15–20% to account for the extra cuts.
This gives you the exact tile count — tiles are usually sold by the box, so check your box coverage and round up to the nearest full box when you actually order.
